On July 6, 2011 at 18:00 the opening of modern graphics exhibition from the Fund of Mariusz Kazana was hold in AVEC Gallery


Mariush Kazana – director of Diplomatic protocol department of Ministry of foreign affairs of Poland, who died in the airplane crash near Smolensk on April 10, 2010. He had always combined his career with philanthropic and educational activity, was the author of many projects to promote Polish culture in the world. At the initiative of Mariusz Kazana in the Ministery of foreign affairs the art gallery “At the diplomats” was created. The gallery exhibited the best works of contemporary Polish art. After the tragic death of the diplomat his wife and friends established the Fund of Mariusz Kazana that continues the projects which Mr. Kazana couldn’t proceed with. The exhibited works demonstrate the richness and diversity of contemporary Polish graphic art. Among the authors there are young talents and famous artists. The works are done both in traditional and modern styles. They became an even in artistic life of Poland. Now Ukrainian audience can also get acquainted with these works.

The exhibition is organized with the support of General consulate of Republic of Poland in Kharkiv and is timed to the entry of this country to the chairman position of in EU Council.
